Week 1 - C-Class Meeting Mingle

[Shortly after Dazai's announcement, Saki goes around finding all of the C-class she can, directing them to bathrooms.

Once everyone is gathered, she'll speak up:]

I apologize for the location, but this seems to be the one room where we aren't under as much surveillance. That said, I thought it would be best if we could collect our thoughts on how we want to proceed with this mission, since I think all of us were taken by surprise on those rules.

I also want to make note of how many teams have a C-class. I know I'm the only one for the... Blue Butterflies. [Which sounds so ridiculous considering the penalty for failure is death.]

If no one has to die during this mission, I'd like to minimize casualties. Losing man power here doesn't do anyone any good.

If they want their bloodshed to be "earned" and not "just a random killing spree" it stands to reason they wouldn't give any of us a direct order to kill in the first place.

Then what's the point of locking us up in here in the first place? Experiments have to have a control factor or they don't mean anything.

Regardless, I've mainly been used as containment personnel, so I doubt they'll ask me to engage in direct combat. If--and if that day comes, you're welcome to lord it over me.

...I should be honest about it as well: If I'm ordered to, I would most likely kill someone. I'm pretty sure I've specifically been flagged for "termination" if I refuse such orders, after all.

I have no intention of killing anyone unless something like that happens.

It's easy, ain't it? Talkin' about how great it would be for everybody to live when you know you'll kill somebody to save your own ass.

[Yeah, she's just going to stick to that argument because it's probably the biggest threat.]

I don't even care if people try to save themselves because they're afraid of dying. But the least we could all do is agree to work together when we can. That's all that needs to be said right now.

Honestly, I'm saying this in the hopes that if it does end up like that, somebody can stop me. After all, in that case it wouldn't be that I refused the order, but that I couldn't complete the order.

Being unable to complete the order is probably fine, but I have to at least try, whether I want to or not.

That's probably fine. Just make sure that I'm still alive so that you don't end up breaking the rules instead. Violence is permitted but not death, after all.
