Week 1 - C-Class Meeting Mingle

[Shortly after Dazai's announcement, Saki goes around finding all of the C-class she can, directing them to bathrooms.

Once everyone is gathered, she'll speak up:]

I apologize for the location, but this seems to be the one room where we aren't under as much surveillance. That said, I thought it would be best if we could collect our thoughts on how we want to proceed with this mission, since I think all of us were taken by surprise on those rules.

I also want to make note of how many teams have a C-class. I know I'm the only one for the... Blue Butterflies. [Which sounds so ridiculous considering the penalty for failure is death.]

If no one has to die during this mission, I'd like to minimize casualties. Losing man power here doesn't do anyone any good.

We all got tee-shirts, right? You colorblind? [Giriko's holding her purple teeshirt still. Somehow, it isn't shredded.]

All of us were just given a lot of information at once. Confirming it now will make it easier for us to remember later.

It's also possible not everyone will be wearing their T-shirts all the time.

I'm pleased with the color choice, for what it's worth.

Place like this? We'll probably get some kinda bonus if we're wearing our team colors, or bandaid'll hit us with a rule about it or some kinda pedantic bullshit.

Yeah, so what's your strategy? You a "no teammate gets left behind" kinda guy or what?

If possible, yes. Considering we're going to be dealing with those fairly unpredictable trivia quizzes, we're better off maximizing the amount of random knowledge between us.

They have cameras on us everywhere else. Who knows if the Host has access to them too.

Having equal chance at knowing something doesn't mean that everyone actually bothered to memorize that particular piece of information. That's my reasoning.

I try to minimize casualties as a rule, but in this scenario, it will also serve out personal survival well.

Personally, I think making it through without any casualties would be more of a win.

Obviously. But what's the point in letting each other die here?

I ain't riskin' my life just 'cause you think it'd be more of a win to make it through with nobody dying. It's gonna be hard as shit to keep people alive here, you know? The assholes in charge want to watch us bleed out, right? We stay alive, they lose their shitty little snuff film and they won't be able to jack off to us wiping each other out, right? They're gonna do whatever it takes to set us off, see?

I think that might be correct, sadly.

[ And he is 100% not thrilled with it. ]

But at the same time, the primary goal of the program is entertainment. Luckily, we have some oafs around here that provide this simply by existing... It will buy us some beneficial points with the audience, one should hope.

The entertainment they want is blood and guts, bird brain.

It's bad enough that they want entertainment from our deaths.

This is broadcast to everyone in the Foundation, isn't it? What a wonderful image for them to see, I'm sure. All of us with powers killing each other at someone else's whims.
