Week 1 - C-Class Meeting Mingle

[Shortly after Dazai's announcement, Saki goes around finding all of the C-class she can, directing them to bathrooms.

Once everyone is gathered, she'll speak up:]

I apologize for the location, but this seems to be the one room where we aren't under as much surveillance. That said, I thought it would be best if we could collect our thoughts on how we want to proceed with this mission, since I think all of us were taken by surprise on those rules.

I also want to make note of how many teams have a C-class. I know I'm the only one for the... Blue Butterflies. [Which sounds so ridiculous considering the penalty for failure is death.]

If no one has to die during this mission, I'd like to minimize casualties. Losing man power here doesn't do anyone any good.

...If they're trying to sneak someone in here to listen to us, we might as well just take it out into the open.

[As if they even made all that much progress here anyway.]

Ah... He's on my team. I think? We'll talk to him about this later, but for the time being it probably doesn't matter if he stays too much. The reason we're all here is just to avoid the cameras, after all.

[ Phew, he seems way more amenable to all of this now. Maybe he's not dying today \o/. ]

Yeah? Take it right back out to the fuckin' cameras? We were't hiding from those D-class morons, we were hiding from the Foundation, right? [why is she the only smart person here???]

Thanks to how long we argued about whether or not to kill each other, we hardly discussed anything that needs to be hidden anyway. There's nothing against the rules if we work together. Dazai confirmed that himself.

[arraignments]

Tam Lin...?

[ His mouth opens...

For now, let's just go with the obvious ones: Assume everything you say out loud is being heard by Dazai and whoever he's working for. Anything that needs to be kept secret should only be communicated via methods not based on sight and sound until we're done here. The bathroom here's partly safe, but only partly.

What the fuck did you think was gonna happen in here?

Perhaps, even if there is something to hide from the Foundation, if anything is discussed in private with any of the groups, we could do our best to share it with the rest of the group somehow.

[ He sighs and folds his arms over his chest. ]

I'm all for fighting against the encouraged segregation, personally.

Granted, who's to say there isn't someone among either group that won't share everything with the Foundation, anyway?

I mean, I do think it's important to know what we would kill each other over too, though. There's definitely going to be attempts to manipulate us into it, so we need to know what to watch for so we can help stop it, I feel.

...Like I said before, my main thing is that I'll do it if I'm given an order, or if I think it can help save other people's lives. I hope that if I end up in that situation, someone stops me.

I thought if we all came together, we could come up with a decent plan.

But if this is all we can come up with, I don't see any point in hiding it from the rest.

Define 'murderer'? I don't really like killing people but I've done it on Foundation orders before.

And, if there was, say... a majority of us with the same goal in mind, wouldn't that make us allies, regardless of how they want to group us?

[ He gestures to the side, his expression going serious - there's... some anger and determination burning in his eyes, here. ]

Well, fuck what they want! We shouldn't have to be just some source of entertainment that's segregated into chosen teams. We're living beings that deserve to choose how we want our lives to be!

So, maybe we should go have a look at the list, again, and figure out the similarities.

It might not solve everything, but figuring out how they think, when it comes to this, might be a good starting point.
